WELCOME

The Mathematical Foundations of Informatics (MFOI) annually organized event brings together the mathematicians, computer scientists and IT professionals and adds synergy to their endeavors to lay down the mathematical foundations for computer science, also known as informatics. The previous editions can be found here http://www.mfoi.eu/conf2016/ and http://www.mfoi.eu/workshop2015/.

This year's edition will be a continuation of the 4th Conference of Mathematical Society of the Republic of Moldova (June 28-July 2, 2017).

In the frame of MFOI-2017 conference are planned the following events:

  1. A special session dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Florin Gheorghe Filip,
  2. The IVth edition of "Prof. Yuri Rogozhin" seminar,
  3. Workshop "Software applications of the type "Self Management Disease": solutions and prospects."

All the accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings of the Conference, which will be handed over to the participants on the first day of the conference. The selected papers will be also published after the conference in the CSJM (Computer Science Journal of Moldova – indexed in Mathematical Reviews, Zentralblatt MATH, MathSciNet, DBLP, DOAJ, EBSCO) or in the Bulletin of Academy of Sciences of Moldova, ser. Mathematics (indexed in Mathematical Reviews, Zentralblatt MATH, SCImago Journal Rank (SJR), Russian RZh Matematika).
